To my dad – thank you for everything. Couldn’t be where I am without you!
and to the “other” dad in my life, thank you for all you do. One day, our daughter will hopefully know just how lucky she is to have you as a father.
And to all Fathers everywhere, may you have the love respect and honor of your children that you deserve!

Phew what a wedding! I think my bride today is going to have to win bride of the year award! Between the sun pin light from above during the ceremony (thanks Gretchen?), to the multi location reception, to the torrential downpour on her outdoor reception, Heidi kept a smile on her face!
Congratulations you two!
oh wait!! Did I forget to mention? The bride broke her foot the day before!
What a glorious sunny day! Perfect for a garden wedding.
The guys got ready at the Carriage House at Clifton Inn.
The gals got ready at the main house with the help of the ladies from Face Value Studio. Leah took a little private time to write a special note to Seth. Dress by Vera Wang.
Loving my infrared camera! Still miss the old discontinued Kodak film. Leah’s dad walks his daughter to the croquet pitch.
It’s such a quaint garden location!
The rest of the place is just as beautiful! I loved these quiet moments afterwards with the couple.
Then, the sunset cocktails on the pool terrace!
mmmm refreshing champagne! I love the condensation on the glasses of chilled Louis de Sacy Grand Cru Champagne. Can’t you just TASTE it?
Then it was on to the tent in the wooded clearing.
HelenOlivia created the stunning floral displays again this evening!
The Skyline Tent Company always done such a nice job!
One of my favorite moments at a wedding is during the first dance. The pressure is off (well mostly!) and the couple can just enjoy themselves like Leah and Seth did here!
theeventco did a great job with subtle but effective lights. I loved the way the band’s lights added just a small disco element at the front.
Speaking of the band, if you’re still looking for one, BS&M is one that I can recommend! When they were playing, NO ONE was sitting down!
All good things must come to an end at some point and Leah and Seth were sent off on their way with a sparkler exit!
Thanks again to Crystal Whitaker at Clifton Inn, without whom, this would not have been as spectacularly run as it was!
Great couple
Gorgeous place at Ashlawn
Yummy food from Clifton Inn
Fabulous flowers from Helenolivia
what more could you ask for?
a nice little quiet moment captured… at the end of the toasts…
Yes, you read that right! I’m so very excited about our new FINE ART film option! I never got rid of my darkroom equipment and I’m breaking it out once again! For weddings from June onward, you can add on B&W film coverage which includes contact sheets, a gallery box with matted RC prints and one 16 x 20 fiber based print! sniff sniff… smell that fixer?
Contact the studio for more details!
It is always exciting when my work hangs in a show! Check it out, this weekend only, at Sweet Briar’s Panell Gallery!
Congratulations you two!
What an electric evening!
But through it all, Sarah and Chris were as cool as cucumbers!
Thank you to Aron and Scott for the referral!
more to come later!
