My daughter has gotten pretty excited about this “holiday” – Free candy for the asking?  What’s not to like!?

In her custom made pink horse costume – thank you Nana!!

And to all the goblins and ghouls out there, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Sometimes, you just get lucky.

Folks, dont have your heart set on getting this shot on YOUR wedding day!!

I know I sound like a broken record sometimes but its true – I never get over the thrill seeing my work in print! This time, it’s a feature article about my business (vs simply featuring a wedding!)  The magazine is Soiree, a luscious repository of advice, ideas and inspiration!.

pst – cover image is not mine

Here are some smaller images from the article and you can read the whole thing in a full sized PDF here.

There are, as is sometimes the case with media, some small inaccuracies (ie, I”ve been in business in Lynchburg for nine years not six, that sort of thing) – just ignore those and enjoy the rest!

Coming soon – an amazing sale just in time for the holidays!  Stay tuned!  And, if you would like a little “extra” bonus, please sign up for our email notification!  click here.

I’m off for a family day but I wanted to get a couple of these amazing images on the blog for the international community that was a part of this special wedding….

Congratulations you two!

🙂 Another album in da house! Emily and Alex were married this past spring in Richmond; they ordered the Modern album shown here…

I get asked if invitations can become a part of albums; for our matted books, we can use the actual invitation.  For the Modern books like this one, I try to make sure to get a photograph of the invitation with some of the decor.  It works well as an introductory page!

Wow! There was no end to the surprises at today’s wedding! It was a late night so I’m going to leave you with the most spectacular surprise of all from Brandon to his new bride.

Congratulations you two!  See you in the afternoon Sunday for a Romance Portrait Session!

And adding on, here are some immediate favorites from our Sunday session!

I LOVE doing these sessions!  We get to have fun without worrying about messing up the dress for that walk down the aisle, the bride gets to wear her dress again, and the couple gets to share just a little romance! 🙂

Yesterday’s wedding was a sweet melding of two friends who went out on a first date and never looked back. 🙂

One of the things that you can do that will have the greatest impact on your pictures (other than just relaxing and having fun on your wedding day) is to hire a lighting company.

Many thanks to Dickie and the rest of her team from Easton Events!  Things always go more smoothly when there is a pro at the helm!

You can see more at their custom slideshow here!

Congratulations Kristen and Jamie!
