Under the theory that the best camera to have is the one that’s on you at any given moment, I have been using my iphone like crazy. But there is still nothing that beats the quality of a Mark D camera with an IS L lens. Captured outside King’s Island this past March.
I was honored to be the exclusive photographer for Central VA Bridal Guide’s Bride of the Year Luncheon! Hosted by the wonderful folks at Tresca on 8th, the Luncheon offered a variety of bridal vendors for brides to review while they enjoyed lunch from several caterers. Stay tuned for a full list of participants and for now, enjoy some highlights below (I tried to get a picture of the vendor name BEFORE each shot so if you want to know whodunnit, just look at the picture before) Click on the thumbnail to view full size.
2011 has been an incredible year worldwide! From the Arab Spring to the Republican primaries, global warming to Steve Jobs death, and everything beyond and in between. Down in my little corner of the world, the studio enjoyed lots of weddings, engagement sessions, bridal portraits, babies, families, seniors and of course fine art work. While I can’t show EVERYTHING (or everyone) we photographed this past year, here’s a sampling of some of our favorites!

I am thankful for so many blessings in this life.
First and foremost, life and good health because without those, the rest becomes much more difficult.
Secondly, my family who help give my life meaning and my friends who help me enjoy it.
Thirdly, the privileges of being a US citizen and enjoying the liberties we have.
And lastly, but not least, you, my amazing clients and awesome fans! What I do would not be possible without your love and support!
Have a fantastical, fabulous, phenomenal, Thanksgiving Day!

Just checking in briefly from vacation to let y’all know that 2011 is almost completely booked up for weddings. I have two ONE more open spot left for the year and when it’s gone, it’s GONE! Portraits are booking into mid September now – if you want fall portraits, you should get on the calender before it’s too late! 🙂 And since all posts are better with pictures, here’s one of my latest from my tree project.
