I try to work with other photographers at least a couple of times a year; this weekend, I had the opportunity to work with Lacey Gadwill and gosh the wedding was just too short! We had a blast!
A big congratulations to Sarah and Clinton!

Wow! What a gorgeous day! One of those that you almost never see in August! Bright, crisp, no humidity! It made getting the outdoor images Holly and David wanted sooo much easier! 😉
I also had an extraordinary number of “guest” photographers so hey, I shot over THEIR shoulders!
Congratulations you two!
I love it when I photograph whole families – I photographed David’s sister’s wedding a few years back – remember those days?
and at the wedding…
they brought a new family member!

Tee hee – ok I just like saying that! But in this case, its true again! I had sort of gotten out of the habit of entering competitions, just too busy with a toddler, moving twice in one year etc etc. I finally buckled down this year and started entering again and I’ve already won some!! How exciting! Here’s what I heard about today:
From wedcomp.com I’m very pleased with these placements as this comp had some FIERCE photographers!
What a fabulous wedding day! I’ve got another thing in the early AM so no words, just pictures tonight!
Congratulations you two!

I didn’t get a chance to blog this wedding before my New York trip so I’m hoping to make it up to you guys by adding a couple of extra images to your sneek peak! I have so enjoyed working with Michelle and Jamison – between the engagement session, bridal portrait, meetings and then finally their lovely wedding in July, I feel that we have really had the chance to connect.
Jamison was READY!
So was Michelle
I ADORE this image by Angela, my second at this wedding!
I was pleasantly surprised by the Renaissance Center – the area is definitely urban but inside, the rooms, (especially the ballroom) were beautiful! Most of all, I was IMPRESSED with how well the staff treated Michelle and Jamison. I’ve photographed a number of weddings with family BBQ in the backyard to hefty budgets and multiple staff and I dont think any couple has been as sweetly, efficiently and thoughtfully cared for.
Did I mention how beautiful the ballroom was? The light was just gorgeous!
I just love moments.
Some are funnier than others! Rock on Jamison!
And I love it when I can be there for the exit!
Thanks to you both for a lovely evening! I hope you enjoyed your stay at the Jefferson Hotel!
What an amazing event! Even though we were not allowed to photograph the ceremony itself, it was easy to see the deep feelings and heart felt emotions that existed at this wedding. In addition, the details were amazing; between the Vera Wang dress, and the flowers… and then there was the band. Whoa. The band ROCKED the house! Here’s a sneak peek for now, more later!
I seem to have good luck with my Jessica and David’s! About this time last year, I had a wedding with a Jessica and David that ended up being one of my featured events on my new website. The one this June will probably become a sample album! 🙂 Congratulations you two!
another double header weekend so no chatting again tonight! Just two immediate favs while I was downloading the portraits! The wedding was at King Family Vineyards.
